Africa is quickly becoming a hub for cloud engineering and development. With the growth of technology in the continent, there has been an?  increasing demand for skilled professionals in tñ field of cloud computing. As more businesses and organizations in Africa continue to adopt cloud technology, the need for cloud engineers has become more critical than ever.

In this article, we’ll be discussing five cloud engineers in Africa that have made significant contributions to the field in 2020.

These engineers have demonstrated excellence in cloud architecture, administration, migration, monitoring, and security.

They have also shown their ability to multitask, work effectively in teams, and learn new skills quickly.

Adeyinka Ayodeji
  1. Ayodeji Adeyinka

Ayodeji Adeyinka is a Senior Cloud Engineer at Cellulant with over six years of experience in cloud administration. Ayodeji is skilled in cloud architecture, deployment, monitoring, and security. He is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and an ISO 27001 Lead Implementer. Ayodeji is also experienced in the administration of cloud and on-premise IT systems in large enterprise networks.

His excellent communication and teamwork skills have enabled him to work closely with different teams, client services, implementation, and support teams to meet business and technical demands.

  1. Folarin Fasunloye

Folarin Fasunloye is a Cloud Solutions Architect and Engineer with over five years of experience in the field of cloud computing. Folarin is skilled in cloud architecture, deployment, and management of cloud systems.

He is also proficient in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud administration. Folarin’s expertise in cloud technology has helped him to lead many successful cloud migration projects, including a project that involved the migration of a major telecom company’s entire infrastructure to the cloud.

  1. Adeniyi Adeyemi

Adeniyi Adeyemi is a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with over four years of experience in cloud engineering. Adeniyi is skilled in cloud administration and management, virtualization, Linux system administration, and database administration. He is also proficient in containers and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Adeniyi’s experience in cloud engineering has enabled him to work on several complex cloud migration projects for large organizations in Africa.

  1. Victor Akinwande

Victor Akinwande is a Senior DevOps Engineer with over seven years of experience in cloud engineering. Victor is skilled in cloud architecture, deployment, monitoring, and security. He is also proficient in virtualization, containers, and orchestration technologies. Victor’s experience in DevOps has helped him to lead many successful DevOps projects, including a project that involved the implementation of a robust CI/CD pipeline for a major financial institution.

  1. Ifeoluwa Adeyemi

Ifeoluwa Adeyemi is a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with over three years of experience in cloud engineering.

 

Ifeoluwa is skilled in cloud administration and management, virtualization, Linux system administration, and database administration. He is also proficient in containers and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Ifeoluwa’s experience in cloud engineering has enabled him to work on several successful cloud migration projects for major organizations in Africa.
