IT News Nigeria:

The Asian country became the first the continent to legalize growing and distributing marijuana.

In response the new new policy, over 100,000 people rolled up for the govt app to register as cultivators – but smoking the weed is is still illegal.

According to report, products are limited to 0.2% of the psychoactive ingredient THC to block recreational usage, with 1,181 products from medicinal pain relievers to confectionery have been approved.
Thai lawmakers hope it will become a $435mn industry by 2026 and will give away 1mn plants to kick-start the drive, but medicinal producers are concerned about regulating inexperienced growers.
