WHO has said that Coronavirus Pandemic Nearly Over

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters Wednesday that the world has never been in a better position to end the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We are not there yet. But the end is in sight,” he said at a virtual press conference. “[But] this is not the time to relax or let down our guard,” he added.
Ghebreyesus expects that future waves of serious Covid-19 infections can be treated with vaccines and antivirals.
