NCC Gets New Head For Online Media

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has appointed Mr. Omoniyi Ibietan as the Head, Online Media and Special Publications, according to ITPulse.
No official statement yet from NCC regarding the appointment, the stream of congratulatory messages on his Facebook Timeline and Twitter handle, show that the Doctoral Fellow at North West University will replace Mr. Okoh Aihe, who was hitherto in-charge of the Unit.
He has also updated his current place of work to Nigerian Communications Commission, with Head, Online Media and Special Publications as his new designation on Facebook and LinkedIn.
Mr. Omoniyi Ibietan is a Certified regulation, communication and reputation management specialist cum social entrepreneur. He studied Communication and Language Arts at the University of Ibadan.
Until his appointment into the position of Head, Online Media and Special Publications, Omoniyi was a Senior Manager, Public Affairs at the Nigerian Communications Commission Abuja, managing frontline relationship with the National Assembly
