Innjoo, TD Unveil Slimmest ‘Leap’ Power Bank Charging Laptop

Mobile devices manufacturer, Innjoo Technology Nigeria Limited and Technology Distributions Limited (TD) launched ‘Innjoo Leap’, a laptop that could be charged with the use of a power bank on Wednesday in Lagos.
InnJoo Leap was a high-specifications notebook with the status of being the world’s slimmest and lightest 14-inch device.
Unveiling the device, Country Manager of the company, Mr Rakesh Rocque, said the target of the new product is to keep laptop users on the go especially in circumstances where there is power challenge as the product came with a power bank with over 10000mAH (Milliamp Hour) which could fully charge it.
Coming on exotic colours or either champagne gold or moonlight silver colours, Rocque noted that it could also be charged in the car and would last for 10 hours, when working with it.
On the marketing, he revealed that the group is collaborating with TD, ICT Distribution Company to drive the distribution of Inn Joo Leap.
Explaining more during a media conference to herald the latest device, Rocque said it is “Equipped with a lightning-fast processor, the InnJoo Leap is a fast, capable work tool effortlessly fitted to today’s dynamic and fast-paced business and lifestyle environment”.
“The device is suited to the power requirements of tropical Africa with a 10,000 mAh battery, which delivers up to 10 hours’ battery life.
“Weighing a paltry 1.275kg and at just 18.2mm thin, the InnJoo Leap is officially the world’s lightest and slimmest 14’-inch notebook.
“It has specifications that are ultimately bound to appeal to a growing generation of tech-savvy Nigerians, who rely on their devices to meet a variety of business, work, lifestyle and leisure needs.
“Going by TD’s considerable reach, wide reseller base and dominance in the ICT distribution eco-system, the InnJoo Leap is set to enjoy an overwhelming reception and demand in the market,” he said.
On the after-sales support advantage, he averred that due to Innjoo’s affiliation with TD, customers would have the opportunity of enjoying quick repairs and resolution of issues on warranty and out-of-warranty products.
While revealing that the laptop would be available in the market from March and sell for less that N100, 000, Rocque disclosed further that InnJoo Mobile has expanded its growing reach to Africa, where it has within a short period of time, taken a huge market share in the mobile devices space.
Earlier in her remarks, the Managing Director, TD, Mrs. Chioma Chimere, said the partnership between TD and Innjoo began since 2013 and had moved from mobile phones to laptops.
Hinting more on the comparative advantage of the new product, she said the Innjoo Leap laptop came with an advantage of style and market competitiveness.
