Russia Ban: European Human Right Court Accepts Jehovah’s Witnesses Complaint

European Court of Human Rights announced today that it has accepted the complaint of “Jehovah’s Witnesses” with regards to Russia ban, according to the website of the court reports.

IT NEWS NIGERIA gathers that “the court communicated complaints of several banned organizations that were recognized in Russia as terrorist or extremist including Jehovah’s Witnesses, the court said.

Communicating the complaint means that the court found it possible to examine the problems posed in it and sends it to the authorities of the state, to which the applicants complain, with a proposal to explain their position.

Yury Ivanenko, the Judge of the Supreme Court of Russia ruled some months ago that Russia recognize the main organization of “Jehovah’s Witnesses” in Russia as extremist and liquidate it.
