Computer Society Urges Nigerians To End Election Frauds With ICT



Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) has urged Nigerians to take advantage of ICT to entrench good leadership in the country ahead of the 2019 general election.

National President of the Association, Prof. Adesola Aderounmu revealed this in a Facebook post Thursday, adding that  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to adopt a technology to ensure  smooth electoral process.

“Using ICTs to elect leaders could motivate successful transition into a valid and credible democracy that would truly represent the will of the people,” he argued in a Facebook post.


According to him, all over the world the use of technology in election processes has become more vital to good governance.

Precision technologies have been invaluable to elimination of man-made errors in elections and ensure true identities of voters globally.
