Hottest Online Cooking Show “Off the Menu” Ends Its First Season with a Banga

Following a strong 13 episode run, Accelerate TV’s first cooking show; Off the Menu; has reached the end of its 1st season. Hosted by celebrity dancer and chef; Soliat Bada; the show kicked off its first episode in February with Singer Waje as its celebrity guest and sous chef.  With a wide variety of celebrities and media personalities taking up the role of sous chef each week, off the menu has blessed us with sizzling dishes and spicy kitchen conversations that leave our mouths watering.

On this final episode, show host; Soliat teams up with talented singer, song writer and  actress Omawumi to create the staple iteskiri soup; Banga; which also happens to be the singer’s  favorite.  Omawumi, who is popular for her unique sound and style shared about her childhood, being married to a “Yoruba angel” and her plans for the Omawumi brand on this episode.

Being Chef Soliat’s first time making the popular Banga soup, she was indeed looking forward to a stamp of approval from the “resident banga expert”; she went all out with her ingredients which Omawumi termed the “passengers”

From tasting boiled banga seeds to sharing Warri experiences and funny phrases, these two obviously had a great time making and eating Banga soup on this final episode of everyone’s favorite cooking show “off the menu”.
