An economical respirator developed by a university student is set for commercial production as the globe battle COVID-19 pandemic.  

The ventilator developed by University of La Sabana at Institute of Medical Simulation in Bogota, Colombia on April 15, 2020

 The newly developed device passed the last test Wednesday before its mass production amid a global scramble for the medical devices needed to treat victims of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Colombian authorities.
