Screening charges must not be above N2000
Joint Examination Matriculation Board (JAMB) has today approved 160 and above as the national minimum benchmark for admission for the year 2020 into public universities.
In a virtual meeting , JAMB also said announced 140 as minimum Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination score for admission into private universities. And for public polytechnic, 120 UTME score was approved, while 100 was approved for Colleges of Education, innovative enterprises and institutes.
IT News Nigeria gathered that JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede also warned against increasing charges for screening among the institutions and has therefore pegged admission screening at N2000 or below response to the economic reality facing parents today.
