China hits first place in global research

China made public over more than 690,000 piece s related to the Sustainable Development Goals from 2015 to 2019


IT News Nigeria:

China has printed more than 690,000 articles related to the Sustainable Development Goals from 2015 to 2019, according to report.

Chinese official, Kang Xiaoling said among them, the three sustainable development goal areas with the highest scientific output are: good health and well-being, and economy. Applicable clean energy and sustainable cities and communities.

China ranks first in the world in scientific research output related to the five sustainable development goals, including clean drinking water and sanitation facilities, affordable clean energy, industry, innovation and infrastructure, sustainable cities and Communities, and responsible consumption and production, he is quoted as saying.

Speaking further, Kang Xiaoling said  in general, among the 16 SDGs included in the statistical analysis, with the exception of gender equality, China ranks among the top ten in the world in terms of the number of papers in the other 15 SDGs.


“The global pandemic of the new crown pneumonia epidemic reflects the key role of science in social development, and we have been making due contributions to the global joint efforts.”
