Plentywaka, the first bus-hailing app in Nigeria, has announced slight price increase starting today
This is according to Mr. Johnny Enagwolor, President and Co-Founder of Plentywaka in statement while welcoming customers to 2021.
“Starting from Monday, 11th of January, 2021, there will be a slight increase in our bus fares on all routes within Lagos State. We understand that this might involve you adding a little extra to the funds in your Wakapurse, but do not be alarmed as this is just a slight increment from the regular charges we have had before.”
He added that “we tried our best not to do this, because we understand the times we are in. However, we decided as a team that to keep up with the maintenance of our vehicles, improve our services, and continue to sustain the high cost of daily operations, it had to be done. This is why we have ensured that the charges still stay at a slightly affordable rate.”
Please bear in mind that all of this is to ensure that we continually give you the best “Plentywaka experience” in the new year, Enagwolor said, adding “we sincerely hope that you understand and continue to move better with us.”
