World’s leading Social media giant, WhatsApp has listed phones that will be supported beginning November 1, 2021 owning to new software updates.
The Facebook owned platform revealed recently that it has been working on new features for its app on Android and iOS, and that WhatsApp will only be compatible with smartphones running Android 4.1 or above, iOS 10 or above, and KaiOS 2.5.1 or above.

Apple phones that will not support WhatsApp November 1:
Beginning November 1, WhatsApp will stop supporting iPhones running iOS 9 and below. So, Apple devices that cannot be updated to iOS 10 will be incompatible with WhatsApp. Currently, this only includes the iPhone 4S.
IT News Nigeria also gathered that other iPhone models such as the iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, and 6S Plus must be upgraded to iOS 15 before deadline to join over 2 billion users of the social media network

You are advised to backup all your data and conversations on WhatsApp before November 1 to avoid losses. The can facilitate these backup via Google Drive or iCloud until you are able to afford supporting devices. Thereafter restore your critical backups.
