The musician shared these details on his twitter handle of the new release and also updated his fans on crowdfunding received so far. The music star who has consistently shared the update of sum raised is seen as a way of appreciating his fans and show of transparency.
Davido had on Wednesday, set social media agog after he took to Twitter and instagram to solicit funds; to clear his Rolls Royce vehicle from the ports.
With a target of N200 million set for the supposed clearance of his Rolls Royce, the singer amassed over the target; and as at this morning over N184 Million Naira has been raised.
He had earlier shared his account number online for his fans to make payments and within a few minutes of the announcement; N26 million Naira was raised and donations went up to 40 million within the hour.
Tests of his Celebrity Power has seen among those who donated the likes of billionaire Businessman Femi Otedola, Monarch Saheed Eluegushi, socialite Obi Cubana, Sportsmen and women such as Asisat Oshoala, Ndidi, Onyekuru, and a handful of entertainers.
Recalled, Wema Bank placed Davido’s Account on Debit Restriction as fans raised N151m in less than 24 hours.

Reacting to fans and friends’ show of love, Davido who is currenting trending on twitter says he is speechless as fans raise millions of naira.
The global music star opened a Wema Bank account and asked his fans to donate.
Davido told his fans on Wednesday 17th November: “If you know I’ve given you a hit song…send me money… una know una selves ooo,” he initially wrote on Instagram before adding his account details, “David Adeleke, Wema Bank Account Number: 0123044967.
Reacting to Davido’s tweet earlier, Rinu Oduala @savvyrinu tweeted: “If Davido doesn’t reach 200m in the next 1 hour, I may have to step in”.

Less than 24 hours after he made the post, friends and fans started dropping money into the account, with N151 million already donated at the time of filing this report.
Young Nigerians have continued to show brand love for Nigeria’s leading digital-driven financial institution, Wema Bank, with music superstar, Davido being the latest to identify with the bank.
In another Instagram post, he wrote: “We rise by lifting others, abi. Me I don dey raise, dey lift others for the past 100 years. So, I want to know who my friends are . All my friends, one, one million naira. Shey they say we are 30 BG. If you don’t send your own. You are out of here. You are gone.”
The development has sent Nigeria’s social media agog with tweets and others commenting on instagram since yesterday.
Some celebrities have also started tweeting their account numbers to their fans too.
Reacting to the development yesterday, Davido wrote : “I just opened this account today, just for this!!! From 0 to 33!!! Let’s keep going!!! Love you guys. Man, I’m speechless.” The singer turns 29 on Friday.
