In a bold move aimed at propelling Katsina State into the forefront of technological innovation, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, accompanied by over 12 esteemed members of his economic team including the Chief of Staff, Mr. Jabiru Tsauri, embarked on a groundbreaking visit to TD Africa and the Tech Experience Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. Focused on harnessing the transformative power of technology, this visit is set to revolutionise agriculture, stimulate skill acquisition, drive economic growth, and attract investments in line with the 7-point agenda of the Katsina State Development and Management Board (KTDMB).

The primary objective of his visit was to explore cutting-edge technological solutions capable of advancing Katsina’s economy. Furthermore, Governor Radda expressed a firm commitment to investing in tech education to empower the youth and prepare them for the digital age. In line with this vision, the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management has been transformed into an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) University.
