Leading online classifieds site, OLX.com.ng, has recently partnered with the Lagos State Resident Registration Agency (LASRAA) to register all OLX staff and Champs, sales experts that help users buy and sell on the OLX platform

Speaking on the partnership, the OLX Business Development Manager, Mayokun Fadeyibi stated that Trust & Safety is our number one priority on the OLX platform. With this additional identity verification of the OLX Champs we have created a credible database for our Champs and also provided the OLX Champs with the benefits of being a Lagos State Resident.

Fadeyibi, also added that OLX through the launch of the Do it for me Service has empowered over a hundred unemployed youths by giving them the opportunity to earn a healthy income when they help users buy and sell on the OLX platform.

Kayode Ogunnubi, General Manager, L.A.S.R.R.A who was represented by Abiodun Ajayi stated that we are excited to partner with OLX to register their staff and Champs.
Ajayi, also said that the L.A.S.R.R.A resident card is formal proof that the card owner is a registered resident of Lagos State. Each card has it own unique identification number that allows the card owner easy access to governmental and non-governmental services like Lagos State Housing, Healthcare and Education. Therefore we urge Lagos State’s Residents to obtain the card and take advantage of these benefits.

Do-it-For-Me is a premium service that helps busy executives sell their items with the help of OLX Champs who are sales experts. They handle posting the item on the site, taking calls from buyers, negotiating for the right price and closing the deal.

OLX is the world’s leading online classifieds platform present in more than 40 countries across six continents. We connect local people to buy and sell used goods, services, cars and properties. We make it fast and easy to buy or sell almost anything through your mobile phone or on the web.
Through brands including OLX, Avito, dubizzle and letgo, OLX Group is the home of online classifieds in high-growth markets. We are the leading destination for buying and selling used goods and services in 35 countries, and the #1 mobile app in our category in more than 22 markets. Globally we estimate that around 11 million items are exchanged through our platforms every single month, giving products a second life and reducing their ecological footprint.
