“Stray bullet from Kemi Badenoch’s campaign for UK Prime Minister hits Nigeria.”
This was how a Twitter user described how Nigeria-borne Kemi Badenoch blasted Nigeria political system and those who are responsible for entrenching the mess in a country of over 200 million people.
Speaking during her campaign today, the 42-year-old said “I grew up in Nigeria, and I saw firsthand what happens when politicians are in it for themselves. When they use public money as their private piggy banks. They pollute not just the air but the whole political atmosphere with the failure to serve others.”
She said “I am ambitious but for our country and for our party, I chose to become a Conservative MP, I choose this country because here I can breathe free. I could be everything that I wanted to be.”

“I came to Britain determined to make my way in a country where hard work and honest endeavour can take you anywhere. I’m running to be Prime Minister …. to change this country.”
“I like this line in her speech “A country where hard work and honest endeavour can take you anywhere”. Thats the pure reason why we all Japa…Nigeria as it is currently structured cannot guarantee any youth that promise..but no we want APC & PDP in power, God help you all!!”, one responded.
